A Dovey Design consultation isn't a meet-and-greet — it's a powerhouse working session. From the moment we step into your home, we don't just take measurements. We begin building, delivering tailored spatial concepts, layout solutions, and color direction on the spot.

To protect the integrity of that creative advice — and the decades of expertise behind it — we charge a $250 fee for the session. Think of it as purchasing a diagnostic roadmap for your home.

—Immediate, actionable strategy. No fluff meetings. You receive active design solutions — from structural layout ideas to curated color palettes — and immediate access to decades of trade knowledge.
—Protected creative capital. Our ideas are our greatest asset. A paid consultation ensures a professional exchange of value, protecting the specialized intellectual property we share during our walkthrough.
—Seamless project integration. The fee is a starting point, not an obstacle. Choose to partner with us on your project and the entire $250 is credited directly to your design contract.

And if you choose to carry the ideas forward on your own, the roadmap is yours to keep. Either way, we look forward to dedicating our focus, energy, and vision to your home.

Please Read Before Booking

The consultation fee is $250, due at booking to reserve your appointment.
The fee covers a single 90-minute in-home consultation with Michelle Dovey within our service area (Ponte Vedra, Nocatee, St. Johns, St. Augustine, Jacksonville, and surrounding communities). Locations beyond this area may require an adjusted travel fee, quoted in advance.
The $250 fee is non-refundable. If you choose not to move forward with a project, the fee is retained in full as payment for Michelle's time and expertise.
If you engage Dovey Design for a full-service design project within 90 days of your consultation, the entire $250 is credited toward your first design invoice.
The credit applies to one consultation per household and cannot be combined, transferred, or exchanged for cash.
Rescheduling is welcome with at least 48 hours' notice. Cancellations or no-shows with less than 48 hours' notice forfeit the fee.
The consultation is a professional design conversation and does not include drawings, renderings, sourcing, or written plans. Those are part of a full-service engagement, quoted separately.
